PARSNIP
The root is thick & fleshy with a dull white skin & flesh resembling a pale carrot. The length of the root is normally 15 ? 25 cm below the ground. The leaves grow up to 30 ? 40 cm & are erect & triangular or oblong in shape. Suggest to grow in full sun conditions but will tolerate some very light shade & best grown in the cooler months.
