This variety grows rapidly with a growing period of between 20 - 30 days with a high ratio of root to leaf which is 2.5. The root is round shaped with a diameter of 3 - 4 cm weighing 25 - 35 g at maturity. The outer skin is thin & red in colour with white internal flesh that tasted crisp & tender with a mild pungency. Both the roots & leaves are edible. Good tolerance to heat & high yield that holds well in the field & displays good adaptability to a wide range of climatic conditions
