RUBY QUEEN – OP

60 – 70 day maturity from sowing. The roots have a smooth, medium/dark coloured skin & are globe shaped. The flesh is dark red & have very little zoning. The strong, sturdy tops are medium height & a dull green colour with maroon tinge at 25 – 30 cm in height. This variety is widely adaptable & used in a range of growing conditions & regions. Suitable for range of uses including fresh market & processing. Excellent bolting tolerance & it retains shape well even when crowded. Grows well in most environments even poor soils consistently producing good quality, uniform yields & is the most widely used variety in the industry
