Maturity in approximately 55 days. The leaves are tall, bright green in colour at 35 – 38 cm in height & are fully erect. The root is top shaped with a dark red internal colour that displays no zoning. The sugar content is 12 – 15% & the plant is late to bolt. This variety has a great disease package that includes a high tolerance to Cercospora Leaf Spot & is moderately tolerant to Downey & Powdery Mildew. Also tolerant Rhizoctonia & prolonged dry conditions. This variety has a wide range of uses including topping, bunching, pigment extraction, processing & fresh market. This versatile & adaptable variety features high uniformity, consistent shape with a high yield of good quality & has the added benefits of drought tolerance & a great disease tolerance package
